2023 jaguar f pace prestige review năm 2024

The 2023 Jaguar F-Pace is a compact SUV that doesn’t compromise on luxury or performance. However, it’s pretty expensive compared to rivals. The Jaguar F-Pace has a base price of $52,400.

Drivers looking for a practical SUV in the form of an elegant luxury vehicle will be interested in the Jaguar F-Pace. The F-Pace does an excellent job capturing the Jaguar brand identity with distinct British styling, an upscale interior, and engaging performance while serving all of the everyday practicality of a compact SUV.

The F-Pace competes primarily with compact luxury SUVs like the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, as well as more performance-oriented options in this class like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Porsche Macan. The Jaguar has its fair share of strong suits including an elegant interior and exciting engine options, but we wouldn’t call it a value choice.

There are a few changes to the F-Pace for the 2023 model year. The most significant change is the discontinuation of the P340 model. It’s not a big loss since you can still get the mild-hybrid turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with the sporty P400 R-Dynamic S model. Other updates include new wheel options, standard adaptive cruise control on the S models, summer tires and an available Convenience Pack on the SVR trim, and Amazon Alexa on all but the base trim.

2023 Jaguar F-PACE Pricing

The 2023 Jaguar F-Pace starts at $52,400 for the base P250 model. The P250 S starts at $56,000, and the 6-cylinder P400 R-Dynamic S begins at $64,800. Finally, the V8-powered SVR model starts at $89,500.

A destination fee of $1,150 applies to all F-Pace models.

The starting price of the F-Pace is a little high compared to most of its rivals in the compact luxury SUV segment. Even German entries like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class are more affordable. The pricing of the F-Pace is comparable to the Porsche Macan.

Driving the 2023 Jaguar F-PACE

Jaguar has a well-earned reputation for creating cars and SUVs that are serene and comfortable in everyday driving and composed and engaging in more spirited driving situations. The F-Pace lives up to this reputation.

The base engine is adequate, but some might find it underwhelming. If performance is one of the reasons you’re attracted to the F-Pace, the turbocharged 6-cylinder in the R-Dynamic S model is a worthwhile upgrade. This Jaguar is a compact SUV that drives like a sports sedan with a significant boost in power and torque plus an adaptive suspension and bigger front brakes.

The SVR model is the one to get for drivers with a big appetite for performance and an equally big budget. The supercharged V8 delivers stunning performance, and it also adds Adaptive Surface Response, an electronic active differential, and massive brakes.

One of our favorite things about the F-Pace is standard all-wheel drive on every trim. This not only makes the F-Pace more composed in the corners on dry pavement, but it improves its all-weather traction, making it suitable for drivers in snowy climates.

Interior Comfort

The Jaguar F-Pace has an interior with the level of refinement you would expect from the brand. The design is upscale, and the quality of the materials is top-notch, especially in the upper trims. The tech features blend in well with the interior design, and everything is easy to use.

The F-Pace is one of the most spacious SUVs in its class. There’s seating for up to five, and you can comfortably fit two adults in the back seats. There’s also plenty of cargo space, specifically 31.5 cubic feet behind the back seats. This is a suitable luxury SUV for families as long as you don’t need a third row of seats.

Exterior Styling

Jaguar has done an excellent job translating the modern design language of its sedans to versatile SUVs like the F-Pace. The body lines are clean, the light signature is handsome, and the wheel designs range from premium to sporty.

Speaking of sporty, the look of the F-Pace changes a bit as you get into the more performance-oriented trims. For example, the R-Dynamic S has a unique appearance package with just the right amount of black and dark chrome trim to give it a sporty yet premium look. The SVR model has a look that reflects its rip-roaring performance with quad tailpipes, a unique hood, and satin gray accents.

The F-Pace is on the bigger side of compact luxury SUVs. It’s similar in size to the Porsche Macan, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, and BMW X3. One distinction of this Jaguar is that it’s quite a bit wider than most SUVs in this class.

Favorite Features

STANDARD AWD All-wheel drive can be a costly option when shopping for a luxury SUV, but it’s a standard feature on every Jaguar F-Pace. This makes the Jaguar a good choice if you live in a snowy climate.

PIVI PRO INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM The standard infotainment system in the F-Pace uses a big, beautiful 11.4-inch touchscreen loaded with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Meridian sound system, and more. The upper trims add the convenience of Amazon Alexa.

Standard Features

The base P250 trim of the Jaguar F-Pace is well-equipped with standard features, which helps to justify its high starting price. The standard powertrain is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Every F-Pace comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Standard features include JaguarDrive control with four drive modes (Eco, Dynamic, Normal, Rain/Ice/Snow), a panoramic moonroof, LED headlights and taillights, 19-inch wheels, power-folding mirrors, Luxtec faux leather seats, heated, power-adjustable front seats, a wireless charging pad, and a power liftgate.

The standard Pivi infotainment system uses a brilliant 11.4-inch touchscreen and includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and a Meridian premium audio system.

Standard safety tech features on the F-Pace include automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a driver condition monitor, and front and rear parking sensors.

Factory Options

Jaguar simplified the F-Pace lineup for 2023 with only four trim levels. Stepping up to the P250 S trim adds perforated DuoLeather seats, Amazon Alexa, traffic sign recognition with an adaptive speed limiter, and adaptive cruise control. The S model also opens up some available option packages that you can’t get on the base trim, like a Cold Climate Pack, a Convenience Pack, a Dynamic Handling Pack, and a Premium Upgrade Interior Pack.

If you’re interested in the turbocharged mild-hybrid 6-cylinder engine, you’ll need to upgrade to the P400 R-Dynamic S trim. On top of the exciting engine upgrade, you get a sporty appearance package, bigger front brakes, an adaptive suspension system, DuoLeather sport seats, aluminum interior trim, and a soft-grain leather steering wheel.

Finally, the SVR trim brings a fire-breathing supercharged V8 and an appearance package to match its ferocious performance. It also comes with Adaptive Surface Response, red brake calipers, an electronic active differential, bigger brakes, summer tires, suedecloth and Windsor leather performance seats, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, a suedecloth headliner, a heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control with steer assist, and plenty of SVR badging inside and out.

There are tons of individual options so that you can customize your F-Pace to your liking. There are many options for wheels, paint colors, interior colors, interior trims, and individual options like a tow package, a head-up display, and a 17-speaker Meridian sound system.

Engine & Transmission

There are three engine options in the Jaguar F-Pace. The standard engine is a turbocharged inline-4, which is pretty typical for this class. The performance is adequate but may leave enthusiasts wanting more.

If you’re looking for a little extra driving excitement, you’ll be interested in the turbocharged 6-cylinder P400 model. It brings a big performance upgrade and only a slight fuel economy penalty thanks to the mild-hybrid system.

The most powerful iteration of the F-Pace is the SVR model, powered by a supercharged V8. This SUV delivers performance comparable to the BMW X3 M and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

Every F-Pace has an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

KBB Vehicle Review and Rating Methodology

Our Expert Ratings come from hours of both driving and number crunching to make sure that you choose the best car for you. We comprehensively experience and analyze every new SUV, car, truck, or minivan for sale in the U.S. and compare it to its competitors. When all that dust settles, we have our ratings.

We require new ratings every time an all-new vehicle or a new generation of an existing vehicle comes out. Additionally, we reassess those ratings when a new-generation vehicle receives a mid-cycle refresh — basically, sprucing up a car in the middle of its product cycle (typically, around the 2-3 years mark) with a minor facelift, often with updates to features and technology.

Rather than pulling random numbers out of the air or off some meaningless checklist, KBB’s editors rank a vehicle to where it belongs in its class. Before any car earns its KBB rating, it must prove itself to be better (or worse) than the other cars it’s competing against as it tries to get you to spend your money buying or leasing.

Our editors drive and live with a given vehicle. We ask all the right questions about the interior, the exterior, the engine and powertrain, the ride and handling, the features, the comfort, and of course, about the price. Does it serve the purpose for which it was built? (Whether that purpose is commuting efficiently to and from work in the city, keeping your family safe, making you feel like you’ve made it to the top — or that you’re on your way — or making you feel like you’ve finally found just the right partner for your lifestyle.)

We take each vehicle we test through the mundane — parking, lane-changing, backing up, cargo space and loading — as well as the essential — acceleration, braking, handling, interior quiet and comfort, build quality, materials quality, reliability.
