I am forever a Pony fan so whenever Pony Effect releases a new line especially for their cushions, there’s no doubt I’ll 101% make sure to have it.

Quicky Pony Effect Cushions 101

Glow Stay Cushion is the 4th variant Pony Effect released (see photo below to know the difference). Out of the 4, it has the most promising dewy finish that is perfect for those who wants that “Glass Skin” Finish.

I have the very 1st (Everlasting Cushion) and 3rd (Defense Longwear Cushion). So far both impressed me with it longetivity and glass skin effect on my skin. None of theae two claimed to give a glass skin effect so when Pony released this Glow Stay, how could I say no. I live for glowy cushions and even without looking at the reviews, its something I bought and will really buy out of the whim.

Available Shades

I’m a bit disappointed with this line. The last that Pony released had 7 shades that catered from very fair to deep medium skin tones but the Glow Stay Cushion went back with the 3 Shades only cushion. Though, its quite different coz instead of the lightest as

001 Fair, the lightest available was

002 Porcelein.

I personally don’t have problems with this as I’m always in the middle shade (

002 Vanilla) but I find it really bothersom3 coz I really like Pony Effect cushions and I always recommend it to everyone. I even consider this as kne of the best cushion brands but at the same time, even if its a Korean brand, knowing Pony Effect and Kbeauty in general has set its name in the Internation Beauty Industry, they should know shade availability is one huge factor for people to buy your products. I want my tanned/”morena” and really dark friends to try it but how will they if there’s no shade for them.

If you have the typical yellow undertoned light Asian/Western skin, you won’t have problems with this range but I find it too restrictive considering Pony Effect has also been rebranding to a beauty brand that caters to “all”.

Inclusions

It includes the cushion case with the product itself and an extra refill with a new puff.

Packaging

It has the same box same as the previous variants. The only thing that changed is the purple holographic label and parts you’re seeing from the picture above. Everything else is consistent from font and to the design. I just really hope though that Pony Effect like my other recommendation to other Korean brands to make a different box with english letters for the international market.

As per the cushion case… I was really blown away. I love the lilac color and the mirror effect of it but I also wanna include again that it doesn’t differ from other Pony Effect cushions. The case is very sensitive to scratches and its something even if it stays still in your bag, I just can’t understand why it kept having scratches.

Puff

So far, Pony Effect has the best cushion puff I’ve ever tried. It’s soft, a lot thicker than the conventional cushion puffs, it lasts long and works like a beauty sponge. The only thing different from the other Pony Effect cushion puff was the color. All 3 variants have the signature dark blue ones but this time, they made it beige.

The coverage is light to medium. I don’t think its something that could go full coverage. Its already given since its a cushion and most dewy foundations have low coverage cause most includes and focuses on hydrating – glossy making ingredients.

Finish & Application

I was surprised coz I thought upon application it would be very dewy already like the Moonshot Face Perfection Balm but its far from that. It is even semi matte when I applied it. But as it settled on my skin, maybe after 5-10 minuets, that’s the time I noticed that it’s blending with the oils of my face. It looked dewy but not tacky and even heavy at all. It felt a little wet tho but I think its just the summer weather cause sweating is really inevitable.

I find this cushion still wearable despite the qeather in the Philippines which I really like. It made my skin like a Korean Actress Skin all thru out the day and it even looked better the longer its been my skin.

It didn’t settled to any of my fine lines like how I experienced with the Moonshot Blam and Missha Glow Cushion. It even felt like it moisturized my face even more. Like wow!

Longetivity

I have worn this cushion from 8AM to 8PM and as I mentioned earlier. I liked it more the longer it sits on my skin. It really depends though on the consumers preference but for me…

The dewier, the better!

I think this is my favourite cushion so far if I want a dewy look without doing so much effort with my skincare coz usually if I want to achieve that “glass skin look” I need to put much effort in my skincare like layering or adding some oil which is sometimes clogging or heavy.
