I've always had dry ugly cuticles. Maybe it's because I bit my nails growing up. Eventually I discovered acrylic tips and suddenly had such beautiful nails. But my cuticles were still horribly ugly! The lady who did my acrylic fills every week would douse them with oil but it never helped. I bought my own cuticle oil and started applying it myself daily, but it only resulted in oily fingers. Gross! When a friend recommended this lotion, I had nothing to lose. I was stunned to discover that my hands felt soft and my cuticles were improving after just the first two days of use. Once I had children I gave up the acrylic nails completely and I credit Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hand & Nail Revitalizing Hand Lotion is a great lotion that keeps your skin from getting too dry during the winter months. I like that this lotion moisturizes your skin without making it oily. You use this lotion on your hands and nails, and it does really keep your nails thicker and stronger. When I use this on my nails, I don't have to worry about my nails breaking. This lotion is a perfect size to keep in your purse so you can use it throughout the entire day whenever you feel like your hands need moisturizing. I typically put this on every time after I wash my hands to keep my skin soft and not let my hands get too dry. The price of this is also very affordable, so you can buy multiple lotions to keep in your purse, car, etc. Absorption This absorbs well into your skin, and it doesn't make it oily. Effectiveness This keeps my skin moisturized and it keeps my nails from chipping. Show I have been using Vaseline Intensive Care products for many years and I love them. I just tried this one the other day for the first time and I love it. My hands are so soft! The Government Health Officials are telling us to wash our hands and anti-bac our hands after pretty much everything (rightly so!). Which has left my hands in a rather sorry state. The skin in-between my thumb and forefinger is so dry and looking rather sore. I picked the 75ml squeeze tub of Vaseline Intensive Care and my god, it's like a mini spa break for your hands. No joke, the cream absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky or slimy residue. The smell is strong but not overpowering and doesn't linger on your hands for hours later. The little pink pot is rather cute and mostly what attracted me to it. EI purchased mine from M&S;which reflected in the price... £3.50 for a 75ml tube, extortionate but needed at the time. I've looked around and know I can get a larger tube for a lot less, which is why I marked the value as 5*. September 21, 2019 Ontario, Canada Wonderful hand cream I stash Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails cream everywhere: bedside table, desk at home and desk at work, my purse, etc. It absorbs nicely without any greasy feeling, leaves your hands feeling moisturized, stops cracking in its spot and helps nails and cuticles. I am very hard on my hands and because of this cream my nails and cuticles are in WAY better shape than they should be. Soft and hydrated hands My usual hand cream is L'Occitane but I bought this while I wasn't near a L'Occitane store. I was very pleasantly surprised! It works so well at keeping my hands soft and hydrated during the winter. It has a very, very light scent, which I like because it's never overpowering. It just does the job.
