NYX Ombre Blush [$10 or Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off at Ulta.com] are a new gradient blush inspired by the ombre trend that has two shades of silky powder blushed blended into one gorgeous shade. These were launched with the NYX Spring 2016 Collection but they will be a permanent addition to NYX’s color collection.
NYX Ombre Blush quite remind of the MAC Spring Forecast Blush Ombre that released originally in 2010 [since that time we’ve seen some shades and even new shades repromoted in collections such as the Isabel and Ruben Toledo Collection].
I love how gorgeous and crazy bright these are but that’s their downfall too.
So you’re either going to love NYX Ombre Blush or you’re going to hate it. I’m personally in between those two myself. I both love and hate this formula.
For $10 you get 0.28 oz of blush in a slick black compact with a full size mirror. Last year, NYX HD Blush launched with the Spring 2015 Collection and were $6.50 at 0.16 oz in size. So you’re getting double the blush here for a mere $3.50 more plus a hell of a lot more pigment. Not that UD Blush wasn’t pigmented but Ombre Blush blows them out of the water!
One of the reasons I disliked HD Blush was because it was very powdery so I was surprised when I read that some users found that NYX Ombre Blush was powdery. I didn’t feel that way at all. These aren’t necessarily powdery but my brush does pick up a lot of color on a single pass that’s for sure.

If you have a darker skin tone you’re going to love these as they really pack the color on. They are intensely almost too pigmented with a very bold, vibrant color pay off. The formula is slightly dry on some shades and they blend a little patchy on my drier cheeks and tend to adhere to drier areas. The best option for application that sheers out the color and gives it more of an airbrushed finish is by using a fibre brush. These are just too pigmented so it’s easy to get some major clown cheeks as you can see in one or two of my photos I over did things because I have a heavier hand and I used my favorite Bobbi Brown blush brush to apply which isn’t a great brush for use with these. The wear is excellent at around ten hours without showing signs of fading.
NYX Ombre Blush aren’t without their application issues but some shades are worth exploring and trying out especially if you like super bold, pigmented blushes! I wouldn’t say this formula is the best blush formula around nor is it the easiest to use but some of the shades to stand out as keepers like Soft Flush.
Blendable and buildable. Gives a nice natural looking glow as if the cheeks are flushed. I combined the two shades and it gives a lovely rosy look to my medium complexion. Will suit most Indian skin tones and can be used for daily wear. Only negative is the lack of a brush which would've made it easy to carry around for touch-ups. Stayed almost for 5-6 hrs and this is my alternate to my regular high end brands. Compact sized so it'll last long. Seller is Cloudtail which is a major advantage as product is nicely packed and manufacture/ expiry dates are indicated [11/2018]. NYX is becoming my budget go-to brand. Love this

I love this color. Highly pigmented and stays true to color all day. Great size, looks gorgeous. A little goes a long way. This will last awhile even with daily application.
Absolutely stunning!! You won't be disappointed. NYX is a game changer.

まず商品概要は【鉱物粉＆シリコン】類を主体とした、フェイスパウダーに近い感触のチークで、ケースは円形コンパクトですが、パフでは無くブラシを利用して塗装する事が望ましいメイクです。 勿論、肌感触は「サラサラ」で、リキッドファンデや化粧下地のベトツキが残っていても、それを抑えてくれる程です。
その色味は、当方試用品の1つ
【カラーストリクトリー シック】 だと、パレットが「オレンジ色＆肌色」の2トーン配色になっており、頬紅用途等なら奇抜さを抑えて失敗少なく利用出来る感じでした。 従って、年齢相応な色を選べば、比較的初心者でも奇抜になり過ぎず、扱い易い物と感じますが、残念ながら舶来品なので、詳細な「メイク方法図解」等は添えられていません。
添加物としては、保存料は【フェノキシエタノール】までに抑えられていますが、着色料は安直に【タール色素】等が利用されています。 尚【タルク】を筆頭に、結構な種類の【鉱物粉[紫外線散乱剤]】が含まれてますので、実質的にはUVカット機能も少しありそうです。
容器は、ブラシ収納スペースを備えない、樹脂製の薄型コンパクトですが、開閉スイッチがプッシュ式では無いので、ネイルが長い方には少し辛いです。 販売元は、世界的化粧品メーカー【ロレアル】傘下の、LA発祥ブランド【NYX】で、製造は中国工場委託ですが、日本販売は同系列日本法人【エヌ・エル・オー】が担っており、外装パッケージには日本語訳ラベルが貼られていました。
総じて、価格に見合う品質を備えたチークと言え、使い易い2色のみを大判パレットにグラデーションしてある点にも好感が持てましたので、☆×5とします。
