Sc project comes with no baffles whereas the AR comes with different sized baffles that go in the link pipe to tame it a little if you want to.

I have an AR GP2 and am currently running with two 50mm inserts in the link pipe which still allows the phenomenal V4 soundtrack through, but is not as offensive as my old AR GP Ultimate that had no baffles at all (Like the SC project) This is assuming you are talking about the MotoGP type Sc project.

The old system with no baffle option apart from a pretty small db killer that can be inserted in the end of the can.

Thanks Guys! I went with the SC Exhaust after seeing the austin racing one. The look of the SC was better and the price was better as well. I did want the MotoGP sound as I do not ride this thing every day.

Ill post some photos of it after I get it done with all the upgrades. Also, went with Rizoma rearsets, which I am happy about.

New to the forum but I've got a SC-Project CRT exhaust on my 1199. Absolutely love it. It's really not too loud until 6k...course there's no flapper either...

I am about to choose an exhaust solution for my RSV4 '16 and I don't know which one to pick between the solutions offered by the two company.

I have a CRT SC project fitted on my Tuono and I love the sound and the feeling with the bike. I lost a bit of power on the lower RPMs but can deal with that. I am worried, however, that fitting one on my RSV without a racing map could not be ideal given the higher power.

What are your opinions on the matter? What do you think about the three different solutions below?

  I like the look of the SC exhaust better. I have two Austin's (own 2 RSV4's) and love them very well built and sound great, but I like the looks of the SC better. Either one you wont go wrong! Good luck and let us know which direction you go! -

I have the AR on my 2017 RF. I love the looks, sound, and performance of the pipe. It is very well built with perfect welds, and there has been no drop in power. Quite the opposite in fact since it's paired with a race ecu.
