Trên Windows một số máy khi truy cập vào dữ liệu đã share như máy in của máy khác trong cùng mạng LAN bị báo yêu cầu phải nhập User và password hoặc thông báo như hình:
Logon failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, Iogon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced.
Gặp lỗi này thì bạn xử lý bằng cách:
Lưu ý: chỉnh trên cả 2 máy: máy share và máy muốn truy cập vào máy đã share.
1. Tắt yêu cầu password khi share trong Network Profile
Click phải vào biểu tượng Network gần đồng hồ rồi chọn Open Network and Sharing Center. Tiếp tục chọn vào dòng Change advanced sharing settings -> tìm đến dòng All Network [ở phía gần cuối], mở ra rồi chọn dòng Turn off password protected sharing rồi lưu lại.
2. Cho phép tài khoản không có password có thể truy cập trong Group Policy
Mở Group Policy bằng cách vào Run gõ lệnh: gpedit.msc
Tiếp tục trỏ đến Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Local Policies / Security Options rồi click đôi vào dòng Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console login onlychọn Disable rồi OK
Sau khi đã chỉnh xong trong Policy thì vào Run gõ tiếp lệnh: gpupdate /force đợi chạy xong thì kiểm tra có thể vào share trên máy khác được chưa, nếu còn hỏi User và pass thì bạn chỉ cần nhập tên user là đã có thể vào được. Nếu vẫn chưa được thì khởi động lại máy là bạn đã có thể truy cập vào tài nguyên đã share của máy khác.
Khi kết nối tới máy tính từ xa bằng Remote Desktop và đăng nhập vào tài khoản người dùng mà không có đặt mật khẩu, bạn sẽ gặp lỗi thông báo rằng “A user account restriction [for example, a time-of-the-day restriction] is preventing you from loggin on. For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support””. Click nào nút OK sẽ khiến bạn bị đẩy ra khỏi kết nối máy tính từ xa.
Lỗi này xảy ra khi các hệ điều hành Windows như Windows XP, Windows Vista, WIndows 7, Windows Server 2003 và Windows Server 2008 [hoặc các bản R2] không cho phép người dùng đăng nhập từ xa qua mạng nếu tài khoản người dùng không có đặt mật khẩu.
Việc thiết lập mật khẩu cho tài khoản người dùng mà bạn muốn đăng nhập sẽ giải quyết vấn đề nhưng cũng có nghĩa là bạn sẽ phải gõ mật khẩu mỗi lần mở máy. Cũng có thể vô hiệu hóa kiểm tra mật khẩu trống để cho phép kết nối Remote Desktop để đăng nhập mà không cần mật khẩu.
- Chọn Start và gõ gpedit.msc trong ô Search tìm kiếm phần mềm, tập tin và gõ Enter.
- Ở bên trái, đi tới Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Setings > Local Policies > Security Options.
- TÌm “Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only” và click đúp vào đó.
- Mặc định Enable được chọn, bạn chỉ cần chuyển sang Disable và click OK.
Giờ bạn có thể kết nối tới máy tính bằng Remote Desktop và đăng nhập vào tài khoản người dùng mà không có mật khẩu. Một số máy Windows như XP không có gpedit.msc nên bạn sẽ phải thay đổi trên registry.
If you try to connect to the computer using Remote Desktop and login to the user account that has no password set, you will get the error “Login failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced”. Clicking the OK button will instantly boot you off the remote desktop connection.
The error happens because in Windows operating system such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 [or their R2 versions] does not allow local user to log on remotely via network logon if the user account does not have a password set.
Setting a password for the user account that you want to login solves the problem but that would also mean you would have to type in the password every time you start the computer. You can also however disable the blank password check to allow Remote Desktop connection to login to account without password.
1. Click the Start button and type gpedit.msc in the Search programs and files bar and hit enter. 2. At the left pane, go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options 3. Look for “Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only” and double click on it. 4. By default the Enable option is selected and all you need to do is select “Disable” and click OK.
Now you can connect to the computer using Remote Desktop and login to the user account that don’t have a password. Some Windows such as the XP home doesn’t have gpedit.msc and you will have to make the changes from registry.
