In questo periodo sono un bel po' indaffarata con il lavoro ma ho deciso di prendermi una pausa per parlarvi del Rebel Bouncy Blush [02 Adorable Pink] di Kiko, che fa parte della collezione Rebel Romantic...
Come ho già detto in precedenza, a differenza di molte altre collezioni di Kiko, la Rebel Romantic mi è piaciuta moltissimo, tanto da prendere vari pezzi. Oltre ai Metallic Shine Eyeshadow [review qui] ho preso anche il Contouring Pencil Set e questo blush ma non escludo la possibilità di prendere qualcos'altro, magari i rossetti, quando andranno in saldo.

Il packaging è in plastica rigida color oro rosa ed ha sulla parte frontale dei motivi in rilievo che richiamano lo stile Liberty, che è poi ciò che caratterizza tutta la collezione. All'interno c'è uno specchio e la cialda di prodotto.
Questo blush è particolare perché ha una texture a metà tra la crema e la mousse ed è "bouncy", cioè morbido ma compatto tipo il pongo! Il finish è satin matt ma una volta applicato sul viso la luminosità tipica dei prodotti satinati non si nota molto. La pigmentazione è altissima, il che vuol dire che bisogna stare attente durante l'applicazione perché se si preleva troppo prodotto si rischia l'effetto Heidi. Amando i blush discreti, io preferisco costruire il colore pian piano, usando un pennello Angled Kabuki che, non riuscendo a prelevare troppo prodotto, mi permette, quindi, di dosarlo al meglio. Se voi, però, cercate un metodo più immediato e un colore più intenso, allora vi consiglio di applicarlo con le dita, tanto si sfuma bene e in modo omogeneo comunque.
Per quanto riguarda la durata, su di me resta visibile per circa 4/5 ore, dopodiché tende a sbiadire progressivamente.

If you have been following this blog for the last few weeks, you must be aware of the Kiko obsession that has taken over here! Today is the last of the Kiko related reviews for a while..but I will surely be buying more Kiko products since I was extremely pleased with what I have tried so far from the brand. Let us take a look today, at a gorgeous blush which was released as part of the Rebel Romantic collection!
First off, the packaging is lovely!! It does not have much weight to it, unlike the lipstick I reviewed here from the same collection but it is still gorgeous. [I am sucker for rose gold anything!!]. I like the pattern on the compact as well. Overall, the packaging gets an A+ for the sophisticated vibe.
This product is a cream blush and usually I avoid cream blushes since they spoil faster than powder blushes. However, the color of this blush totally sucked me into buying it! It is the perfect shade for fall. I picked up the blush in the shade 04 Passion Red Wine.
As you can see, the color is stunning! Although the blush is described as bouncy, I didn’t find it to be particularly soft to press down. In fact I found the texture quite interesting. The blush picks up from the pan onto your finger tip as a thick ‘tough’ cream but the moment you spread it on your skin it blends in beautifully. I have been applying this blush with my finger tips and have not tried using a brush since I am afraid a brush might pick up too much product.
The blush is described as a satin matte blush and it looks very natural on the skin. It has just the right amount of sheen and is not a dead matte shade on the cheeks. The color is intense and you need very little of the product to give your cheeks some color. I have a medium skintone and this blush works really well. If you are extremely pale I guess you need to be very careful!!
The blush lasts really well too. I found that it lasts perfectly for around 8 hours. Overall, I am really impressed with this product! If you would like to try it out, I suggest you head over to kiko and order now since this is part of their rebel romantic limited edition collection.
