December 2019 for Biological Agents: Monoclonal Antibodies The professor is very informative, and his lectures are not boring! Review on Respiratory Physiology By Surendra S. on 09. December 2019 for Respiratory Physiology The reason I chose a 4 star rating was because the lectures were amazing and wonderful but I do feel there is room for improvement. I feel in this section, the slides could have contained more information when possible to download and I personally feel that slides was the downfall in this section from preventing the full 5 star rating. I feel the slides could use an improvement and expand on more details. I also believe that the lecturer could have expanded on some concepts a bit more to provide more understanding by providing more examples and various other techniques. The length of the videos were amazing, the way in which the lecturer spoke was captivating and caught my attention and I most certainly enjoyed the lectures and I did learn alot that I never caught in class before. I do urge that the slides do get an improvement by adding certain figures and more concepts especially for us to download. I think it would help alot. Much needed info By abigail s. on 02. My regards concerning the Respiratory Physiology course By David W. on 19. April 2019 for Respiratory Physiology Competent expert relating basic physiology principles well. Emphasis on aspects of physiology that relate to most common respiratory pathology. Good introduction and aid for the novice. Quiz questions after each lecture help reinforce key messages. Over time, Lecturio might be able to invest in more sophisticated graphics such as animations, to support the lecture's teaching objective and aid learning. The lecturer with powerpoint presentation can be a fairly benign and sometimes, unengaging method of teaching. v good explanation By Muhammad A. on 24. Highly recommend By Evelyn R P. on 01. May 2018 for Respiratory Failures Really excellent. Clear, concise and very personable. I find his lectures much better than attending some of my classes. His material and delivery have helped me immensely. Poor Presentation By Flora I. on 01. May 2018 for Veins – Thoracic Vessels I chose this rating because the structures the Lecturer is describing are unclear and difficult to follow. If the instructure had better visualization--such as highlighting the veins as he spoke--that would help immensley. An additional thing that would have helped is to have a visual summary of which veins feed into which at the end of the segment so the students could organize the vein tributaries better in their minds. I like the over all information, it just needs to be presented better. Embarrassing for lecturio By Patrick C. on 11. April 2018 for Asthma: Introduction Horrible. February 2018 for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS): Differential Diagnosis Once again, Dr. Raj is blowing my mind with the way he teach medicine. Connecting everything from here on out to eternity. I have a question about that second quiz question about sepsis before ARDS. January 2018 for Obstructive Lung Disease: Areas Unclear content and so weird method of teaching, there are many alternative ways that could be used to reach the idea more simple Good although there are quiz erros. By Tomás N. on 27. December 2017 for Introduction to Pulmonary Pathology Very good although there are some erros in the quiz. As an exemple, the quiz says that the central receptores are responsive to CO2 when in the physiology course it says that it is in fact responsive to H+ (after a reaction involving CO2). I would recommend some mending in quiz errors. Would recommend although the pretense of multiple quiz problems. By Tomás N. on 27. December 2017 for Respiratory Physiology The course is good but some questions in the quizzes have the wrong correction. Some information in the physiology course is incompatible with the quizzes in pathology. As an example, the information given about the central receptores being sensible to H+ ion and not to CO2 itself (in physiology) is correct but in the pathology course it is considered incorrect in one of the quizzes where we are given the option between CO2, H+ and other ions and the “right” answer is CO2 which is wrong. I would recommended but the quizzes must be checked for erros. ok By EDUARDO H. on 22. November 2017 for Asthma: Signs and Symptoms Its an ok explanation. July 2016 for Respiratory Physiology It is very informative ang well discussed i hope that you will released also topics that covers USMLE2 How do you describe respiratory failure?Respiratory failure is a serious condition that makes it difficult to breathe on your own. Respiratory failure develops when the lungs can't get enough oxygen into the blood. We breathe oxygen from the air into our lungs, and we breathe out carbon dioxide, which is a waste gas made in the body's cells.
Which information will the nurse obtain when collecting subjective data about a patient with respiratory failure?Consider the patient's age, gender, family history, race, culture, environmental factors, and current health practices when gathering subjective data.
What are two primary indications that a patient is experiencing respiratory failure? The symptoms of respiratory failure depend on the cause and the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your blood. A low oxygen level in the blood can cause shortness of breath and air hunger (the feeling that you can't breathe in enough air). Your skin, lips, and fingernails may also have a bluish color.
What do you do for a patient with respiratory failure?Treatments for respiratory failure may include oxygen therapy, medicines, and procedures to help your lungs rest and heal. Chronic respiratory failure can often be treated at home. If you have serious chronic respiratory failure, you may need treatment in a long-term care center.
