After using it for 20 minutes, I could actually see the line where the mask had ended on my forehead after taking it off because of the difference in skin tone!
Granted, the brightening effects were not permanent and had completely worn off by the next day.
But this mask is definitely useful for if I needed a quick brightening effect before a major event where I needed to look my best.
Also, I have a suspicion that this could be promising for long-term brightening effects if used consistently so this is something that I’m definitely keeping in my sheet mask rotation.

Why We’re Obsessed:
Oh bird’s nest, what can’t you do? This sheet mask promises to brighten, hydrate and smooth out skin tone.
Well, I’m happy to report that it works exactly like it said it would. After using the mask for 45 minutes, I noticed that my skin had reduced redness, and was glowy and bright – not as much as the Hyaluronic Acid mask, but still very noticeable.
I noticed the effects the next day too. My skin was calmer and definitely bouncier due to the increased hydration. Something about the bird’s nest extract definitely sticks around for a while, and I was really happy with the results.
No wonder this is also one of My Beauty Diary’s bestsellers and has been around forever.
4. My Beauty Diary Rejuvenate Deep Hydration Mask
What: My Beauty Diary Rejuvenate Deep Hydration Mask
Why We’re Obsessed:
Being a sheet mask from their newer Rejuvenate line, I was excited to try this sheet mask. It contains extract from a plant from the Swiss Alps.
After putting it on for 30 minutes, I did feel definite hydration effect. The essence is very light, lighter than the Hyaluronic Acid mask, so I ended up using this in the morning before I went to work, which was definitely the right thing to do!
Usually at the end of the workday, my skin feels a bit tight and dry as I work in an air-conditioned office all day long. But after using this sheet mask in the morning, I noticed that my skin was much bouncier and hydrated than normal at the end of the workday, which means I didn’t look as tired or worn out.
I didn’t notice the skin barrier repairing or anti-aging effects, but that’s probably because I didn’t use it for long enough.
