Lỗi setup.xml could not be loaded trên corel x7

When version X6.1 was launched I uninstall CDGS X5 without any problem. Yesterday for a momentary need, I reinstalled version X5 to show a friend the main differences between versions X5/X6 and show him how to do a personalized install.

But, when removing again the X5 version, using 'Corel Uninstaller' for earlier versions, although the program have been removed completely, in Control Panel of Windows (Uninstall Programs) version X5 keep remaining on the list (Extras Content and Suite itself).

When I click on these topics, appears a message like this: "Setup.xml could not be loaded.. file could be corrupted..." How can I remove that entries from the list?

• Hello Silvio; How are you? You might try looking in Windows "Control Panet", "Programs & Features" and make sure all the X5 file are gone. ( like the Shell Ext. )

• Silvio: Next time, go to Help>Highlight what's new>Since X5 and the orange highlight will help you see what has changed. No need to install X5. There is also an uninstaller tool available from the support pages that will go through remove X5 from the system if there were tidbits of it left...you might want to try that. T.

Regarding differences between the versions: I know about the "Highlights", however, the main reason I have installed the version X5 was to show, step by step, to new user (beginner) how to choose the options and make general settings (my X5 version is in Portuguese-br), since my current version of the X6 is in English and my friend can not understand anything beyond "yes," hot dog" and "Coca-Cola " (he he).

Corel Uninstaller did not work.

Solution: I did a new fresh install and remove once again. So, the Suite X5 was completely removed (it´s not in Window´s Panel anymore).

Errors related to setupxml.dll can arise for a few different different reasons. For instance, a faulty application, setupxml.dll has been deleted or misplaced, corrupted by malicious software present on your PC or a damaged Windows registry.

In the vast majority of cases, the solution is to properly reinstall setupxml.dll on your PC, to the Windows system folder. Alternatively, some programs, notably PC games, require that the DLL file is placed in the game/application installation folder.

I'm getting an install error.

SetupXML error: CXMLFile() -> couldn't instance IID_IXMLDOMDocument2 [I get this window pop-up about 6 times, I click through.]

Then I get this error message:

Setup - SetupAppExecute::InitInstance() -> Could not load Setup.xml

Any ideas?

• Can you give us a few specifics, such as Windows version (XP/Vista etc).
• What is your operating system? Are you getting this with the installation of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 or with the installation of the service pack? Can you attach a screenshot? Gérard

Thanks for all the replies.I'm using Win XP SP3. I'm trying to install X4, just got it in the mail. I previously had a demo version of X4 installed, and I think I removed it properly, using a method I've seen on another posting. Here are the screen shots.
