Linksys ea8300 max stream ac2200 review năm 2024

If you want a simple user interface then this router is for you. There's too much hand-holding for my taste. This router won't even let you connect to it through ethernet to set up, YOU MUST CONNECT TO ITS WIFI to set it up. It reminds me of Apple vs Android. I want access to advanced options from the beginning, not this wishy-washy stuff. The menu is too simplistic, and advanced features are hidden here and there, instead of being placed in one section alone. It also keeps disconnecting from itself, from an ethernet connection (wired) on my desktop. I mean, I understand if there's no internet coming IN from the gateway, but it should not disallow the user from accessing the settings. The "network map" is laughable. The icons do not have important information at a glance (such as IP). No, you have to click on it, then on the pop-up, click "Device Info" before you get to see what you really need to see. And then, you cannot change the device name at the same time as its icon.Speaking of icons, it doesn't have enough of real-world 2020+ items (such as NAS) but it has a slow cooker? There are only 2 computers to choose from - AIO Mac, and AIO Windows. Where's the variety? I want one with a tower sitting next to the monitor. But I digress. This thing is not intuitive. Also, the power on/off button is a rocker switch instead of a push type. That's okay I guess, but it's very small, and placed smack in between the power port and an antenna. You need very long and thin fingers to access this; or alternatively, unplug the power cord... which defeats the purpose of a power switch! In my honest opinion, the price point on this patronizing router is too high. I would expect this thing be $40.The only saving grace is that is AX technology (aka WiFi 6).

The Linksys EA8300 Max-Stream AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router has taken my home networking experience to a new level. The tri-band technology ensures a robust and stable connection across all my devices, and the AC2200 speed is more than sufficient for streaming, gaming, and heavy data transfers. The setup was straightforward, and the router's user interface was intuitive, allowing easy management of my home network. With a seamless roaming feature, I can move around my home without losing connection, which is a big plus. Overall, this router offers exceptional value for its price and is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home wireless network.

Quality design and build. Does not run hot. Looks like something out of a sci-fi show with the design and the four movable antennae. Simplest set-up I have ever completed for a router. Took it out of the box, read the quick startup card. Logged onto the Linksys site as directed. Then plugged in the router to the outlet and the modem. Logged into the site as directed and set up the network and the router's password. Also, I set up another account that lets me access the home network remotely.

I noticed how easily understandable and clear the directions for everything are. The router having a separate password and settings allowing for automatic updates is helpful. Can set up parental controls and can also set up all three bands separately with each having its own log-ins. The guest network is also nice.

I was impressed by the strength of the signal in a 3700 square feet, two-story house with a full basement. It was five bars to the first floor from the router location on the second floor at the south end of the house, four bars to the deck and yard outside, and three bars to the basement Previously, the speed of the old router was 3 bars to the first floor and 1-2 in the basement and 2 outside on the deck. Also, ran some tests for performance (I am not an IT guy) but the results surpassed my old router.

Also, just for our own purposes, we tried to overload the system, so we had three computers, three cell phones (playing music on two and one messaging), and two TVs (one streaming Netflix and the other Hulu). There was no drop off of any device and no buffering delays. I assume this is due to the router being able to manage the devices and the individual data needs, but all I know is it worked. I was worried about needing an extender, but at this point am satisfied with the results.

I gave this five stars based upon the quality of the router build, the ease of and flexibility of set-up, the features, and the performance-based upon less than a day of usage. I will provide an additional review down the road and if everything is still working flawlessly (or nearly so), will be happy to re-affirm the 5 stars then.

Follow install directions, Mainly downloading the APP preferably before item arrives. (Faster start-up) Follow install instructions and everything should work Great! I now have the strongest internet signal that I've ever had with previous Routers! The best part are the 3 antenna, you can position them in the direction you want the internet signal to go. I now have 5G internet throughout my 2 story home. (Your Internet Provider needs to have this 5G signal available to customers.) I placed the Router near the floor of my upper floor to get the signal downstairs. My Modem happens to be upstairs. The signal goes out in a 'ball shape' so having it high like an antenna for tv does no good. Hope this helps. I'm not internet savvy.

The set up was pretty easy. Took about 5-10 min. This was an upgrade from an older Linksys model I had. Was really surprise with the price. Connectivity is pretty good. I have a few devices hooked to this and so far no lagging or buffering. Very pleased with this purchase and the price! Would recommend this product.

He recommended a much more expensive router; from Google, I believe. It was too expensive and I wanted one which was relatively cheap, but reliable. My old router was a Linksys - an old WRT54GS, which was no longer functioning, but which I had used for a long time (it served me well) - so I went with this one because it was on sale (and was affordable) and was a familiar brand.

He also recommended a switch, as opposed to a router, but I prefer a router because I like having a Wi-Fi network in my bedroom.

I installed CAT-5E in my bedroom from the living room underneath the house using the crawl space. The time I had installed ethernet to my room prior rats had eventually chewed through the cable. This time I tacked the CAT-5E up to the joists using U-Nails and a hammer.

I only needed about 60-70 feet of CAT-5E, but I overestimated and bought 100 feet (I could have bought 75 feet). The excess cable is wound nicely and secured with a thin layer of electrical tape.

5.0 out of 5 stars Internet estable y red interna mas veloz

5.0 out of 5 stars Un producto muy bueno.
