Prima di tutto, l’update 2. 4. 0 di eFootball 2023 – il cui ultimo correttivo risaliva a gennaio per l’avvio della Stagione 3 – aggiunge la modalità “Partita Amico” a Squadra autentica, per cui da ora sarà possibile sfidare i propri amici con le squadre reali. È stato aggiunto un nuovo stadio – l’Estadio Akron -, mentre sono stati aggiornati i dati per la nuova stagione dei campionati brasiliani, cileno, giapponese, americano, argentino e colombiano. Inoltre, è stata rimossa la nazionale del Cile. Sono stati apportati correttivi al dribbling, la cui risposta ha ora un “miglioramento significativo […] soprattutto in situazioni di movimenti lenti”, ai passaggi, “che ora risultano più reattivi”, ai tiri – durante i quali i giocatori entreranno “in contatto con la palla in modo più rapido, in quanto in precedenza potevano essere selezionate animazioni più lunghe” – e alla frequenza della Finalizzazione acrobatica, ora aumentata

Ritoccati anche gli arbitri, con l’implementazione di “migliorie per decisioni più eque sui falli”, così come i portieri, perché “prendano la decisione appropriata sull’afferrare una palla in arrivo”, e una riduzione della “caduta […] dopo essere entrato in contatto con un altro giocatore durante un tentativo di parata”. Migliorata anche la difesa e in particolare “la velocità di movimento dei giocatori […] per garantire un corretto bilanciamento del gioco in risposta ad altri aggiustamenti relativi all’attacco”, insieme al posizionamento dei giocatori controllati dall’IA. Lo stop è invece stato rivisto perché “in precedenza i giocatori potevano muoversi in modo troppo lento dopo aver effettuato un tocco”. Cambiamenti più generalizzati e correzioni di bug chiudono invece il quadro di questa corposissima patch per eFootball 2023, che si prepara così ad entrare nel vivo della stagione competitiva
