I love it when Charlotte Tilbury makes a whole collection out of a single product. It was a smashing success when the brand released the Pillow Talk collection, so I was happy to see the trend was continuing.
I was pretty excited when I heard the news that the Walk Of No Shame lipstick was expanding into a whole collection. While red lipstick still kind of intimidates me, red eyeshadow does the opposite – I *must* get my hands on it. So when I saw the palette pop up on Instagram when it first launched, I was seriously thirsting for it.
First up is what drew me to the collection, the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Walk Of No Shame. This quad features a red, a crimson, a champagne and a rose-gold in metallic, shimmer and satin finishes.
I applied Smoke in the crease and outer V. Because it has a satin finish, it wasn’t as pigmented as if it were to have a matte finish. I applied Prime, which was pigmented and sooooo creamy, all over my lid and then added Pop, which was mostly glitter in a translucent base, to the centre of my lid. Pop was quite stiff so I needed to dig in my fingertip to pick it up which resulted in quite a bit of fallout on my face. Finally, I applied Enhance to my lower lashline – it had a nice formula and blended easily up to the outer corner [I find most Charlotte Tilbury Enhance shades to perform quite well and tend to rely on them to buff out into the outer corner of my lower lash line].
Out of all the Charlotte Tilbury quads, I’d rank this one somewhere in the middle – not the best, not the worst, has some shades that perform well, but not all 4 shadows are an A+.
Another product for the eyes from this collection is the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Jewel Pots in Walk Of No Shame. Packed in a glass pot with a gorgeous jewel-shaped cap, this cream to powder formula gives you a stunning sparkly copper look.
I don’t usually use potted eyeshadows because they usually apply like creams [which always results in creasing for me], but this Jewel Pot actually applied like a powder. For the look below I only used the Jewel Pot on my eye and applied the whole look with a blending brush [my fave, the Sigma E25 Brush] and my fingertip. There was a bit of fallout, but nothing too bad. It’s been a few years since I was *really* into sparkles, so I was really surprised at how much I liked this shimmery look.

The Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Walk Of No Shame is the newest blushlighter to join the Tilbury family. It has a metallic clay-berry “swish” and a peachy coral “pop” that combine to make a copper shade.
When I first saw this on Charlotte’s Instagram, I thought it would be a full-on berry-red bush, but when I had it in my hands it looked way more subdued. In fact, I thought it was very similar to the Chic To Chic Swish & Glow in Pillow Talk. So the investigative journalist in me jumped out and I compared the two.
As you can see in the swatches below, Pillow Talk is much more muted and Walk Of No Shame does indeed lean more berry. So while the Walk Of No Shame shade isn’t as red as it appears online [to me], it’s definitely more red than Pillow Talk [it should also be noted that Pillow Talk is a “Swish & Glow” while Walk Of No Shame is a “Swish & Pop”].
I was so happy with how this blush applied. Charlotte Tilbury’s blushers tend to be a bit more soft and natural-looking, and while this one can do that, it can also be built up to pack some real punch. The copper shade is so different from Charlotte’s other blushers [since they’re usually pink] and I really loved it.
Finally, we have the lip products. The Matte Revolution Lipstick and Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Walk Of No Shame are a medium, scarlet red. The lip liner glided on my lips like butter and felt really comfortable – very impressive. It is the exact same colour as the lipstick, but it partners really well with the lipstick, especially if you’re looking to get a crisper and more impactful lip look. The lipstick needs to be built up for full coverage but is really smooth when applying. Even though I was wearing a bold lip, it felt like I wasn’t wearing anything.
If I had to pick a winner from this collection it would be a tie between the Lip Cheat and the Cheek To Cheek Swish & Pop Blusher. Both were top performers, pigmented and easy to apply.
