Hey, I have the same issue with the laptop I am using. it is an old HP laptop and is running an Intel Centrino Dual Core processor.

Virtualization is activated but I am well aware the laptop I am using for my studies is some what outdated. It is however running Windows 10.

Is there a way for me to fix this problem or an older version that will be compatible and able to run that i can use?

Khi cài đặt xong VMware mở lên và cài đặt thử một win 7, win 8 hoặc win 10 mà bị hiển thị một thông báo như trên là do virtualization trên máy tính đang bị disable (đang bị tắt). Để bật tính năng này chúng ta làm như sau : 1. Khởi động lại máy tính vào Setup/BIOS mode, thông thường sẽ là F2. 2. Khi vào được BIOS, tìm tới tùy chọn Virtualization :

Bước 4. Sau khi tạo xong thì bạn hãy nhấn F10 để lưu và khởi động lại máy. Sau khi khởi động lại máy thì bạn có thể mở Vmware Workstation lên và tạo nhiều máy ảo khác nhau nhé.

i have Ubuntu 64bit Boot disk , i configured everythihng in VMWare , created virtual machine .... and when i power on the virtual machine , there is a black screen with VMWare Logo on it and loading then a error pops on with error :

However, 64-bit operation in not possible

I only updated BIOS driver ( i downloaded update from sony site )
