Tmpin5 là gì

SYSTIN = mobo temp

CPUTIN = cpu temp

TMPIN3 = cpu peci temp

and presumably TMPIN6 = mobo temp [another sensor I guess?]

These are what I found out so far.

But what is this 'TMPIN5'? Clearly it is not PCH temp nor CPU GT cores temp...

Does anyone have an idea??

This mobo is Asrock B150M Pro4/Hyper by the way.

Maybe another motherboard sensor. Or it could be chipset temps.

Where on the motherboard would that sensor be located?

It is not chipset temp as I already mentioned.

maybe go into bios, and monitor temps and see how many sensors the bios detects.

BIOS shows only two which are CPU package and motherboard.

If it does not say in your manual, then no idea.

You would need to contact the engineering team that built the motherboard in order to locate it.

In case you misunderstood, what I meant was what component would it be sensing, not necessarily the exact location.

...and I don't even know if that pal up there is right or not.

To know what component it is sensing you need to know the location................................
