Microsoft Lists sharing

Microsoft Lists is getting a new update that will bring the ability to share an entire list using sharing links with other people. The feature was recently added to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, and it could arrive as soon as June 2021.

Currently, the new Lists app only allows users to share an individual list item with the "Copy link" option, and there is no way to share entire lists. With the release, the app will enable users to “create unique sharing links for lists based on who and how you wish to share them” and forward them to others. The new experience will be similar to the existing functionality available for sharing files and folders, and it would comply with organizational policies and settings.

This feature should help enterprise customers to make collaboration on shared content easier for users. The software gaint noted on the Microsoft 365 Admin center that the new setting is expected to be generally available in late June, though the timeline is always subject to change. In addition to this update, Microsoft Lists is also getting support for disabling commenting on individual list items.
