JTB offers a broad range of activities for your students to explore Japan’s culture, history, nature, and leisure activities*. No matter what your needs are, JTB will ensure that your students have a successful Japan experience. In addition to the activities you select, we invite your students to our campus to participate in learning Japanese culture and language. At APU’s international campus, where international students make up 50% of its total student body, your students can engage with students from 90 different countries and regions.
A travel representative from a local JTB office** in your country will work closely with you to discuss your needs to tailor a perfect school trip just for you and your students. A tour guide from JTB will then guide your party throughout your trip to ensure an engaging but hassle-free experience. However, you can also customize your trip by choosing to visit other areas in Japan including but not limited to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto [additional costs will apply]. Whatever areas you decide to visit, JTB will provide available activity options to ensure a wonderful trip.
**JTB has branch offices all over the world. However, if JTB does not have a branch office in your country, a local travel agency affiliated with JTB will organize a trip for you.

1. Introduction
The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid [JDS] has been started in Viet Nam since 2000. Up to the present, total of 751
Fellows have been sent to Japan.
JDS is now inviting potential applicants who understand its aims and are interested in 2- year master degree program at Japanese accepting universities for the academic year 2022-2023.
The program will be instructed in English.
The number of dispatches is 45 per year.
Chương trình Học bổng Phát triển nguồn nhân lực [JDS] của Nhật Bản dành cho Việt Nam đã được triển khai từ năm 2000. Cho tới nay, tổng cộng 751 học viên đã được trao học bổng. JDS 2021 hiện đang mở hồ sơ để tuyển chọn tối đa 45 học viên cho khóa học thạc sĩ 2 năm [chương trình học bằng tiếng Anh] tại các trường đại học hàng đầu của Nhật Bản, niên khóa 2022 – 2023.

- Kết quả các vòng tuyển chọn sẽ được thông báo đến tất cả các ứng viên qua emai.
- Chương trình sẽ chỉ thông báo kết quả các vòng tuyển sinh, không giải đáp thắc mắc liên quan đến kết quả tuyển sinh.

5. Research Plan / Đề cương nghiên cứu
In the JDS selections, each candidate will be evaluated on her/his academic abilities enough to pursue the master program in Japan as well as the potential of the future contribution to the country. Thus, it is
highly recommended to explain that the objective of your research plan be in connection with the development issues under applying Component, and to rationalize how the study will be addressed in accordance with the career path, corresponding to the current position and responsibility in the belonging organization.
It is also recommended to study your applying university to make sure if the curriculums of the university and fields of specialization of faculty members are relevant to your
research.
Remember that plagiarize from somebody’s work or websites are strongly prohibited.
Please refer to ‘Tips on Application and Selection [Reference]’ and ‘Guideline for Writing a Research Plan’ in the Application Guideline for more information.
Trong các vòng tuyển chọn của JDS, mỗi ứng viên sẽ được đánh giá dựa trên khả năng có thể hoàn thành khóa học thạc sĩ tại Nhật Bản cũng như khả năng đóng góp cho đất nước trong tương
lai. Do đó Chương trình khuyến nghị các ứng viên nên nêu rõ mục đích nghiên cứu của mình có liên quan đến các vấn đề phát triển được thể hiện qua ngành học và làm rõ cách thức triển khai nghiên cứu đó trong mối tương quan với kinh nghiệm làm việc của bản thân, chức năng nhiệm vụ của cơ quan và hướng phát triển nghiệp vụ của cá nhân.
Ứng viên nghiên cứu kỹ thông tin của các trường ĐH tiếp nhận phía Nhật Bản để đảm bảo rằng khóa học của trường và lĩnh vực chuyên môn của giáo sư phù hợp với đề
tài mà ứng viên sẽ chuẩn bị.
Cấm tuyệt đối các trường hợp sao chép, đạo văn từ các trang web hoặc công trình nghiên cứu khác.
Ứng viên có thể nghiên cứu các mục ‘Tips on Application and Selection [Reference]’ và ‘Guideline for Writing a Research Proposal’ trong cuốn Hướng dẫn chuẩn bị hồ sơ [Application Guideline] để chuẩn bị hồ sơ.

7. English & Math Exam / Thi Toán và Tiếng Anh
Every qualified applicant will be required to take English proficiency test [ITP-TOEFL] as well as math test in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City in February 2022.
TOEFL consists of 3 parts with 'Listening Comprehension [50 questions]' for about 35 minutes, 'Structure and Written Expression [40 questions]' for 25 minutes, and 'Reading Comprehension [50 questions]' for 55 minutes.

Math test of around 60 minutes consists of Arithmetic operations, Solving fractions, Equations, Inequality, Matrix, Basic quadratic functions, Basic operations of exponential and logarithmic functions, Basic Integral and Differentiation, etc.
• Applicants for the following components will be exempted from the Math test. Component 1-5: The University of Tokyo, 2-1: Nagasaki University, 2-2: Kyoto university, 3-1: Nagoya University, Kyushu University, Tohoku University, 3-2 Ritsumeikan University

The scores will be used as reference purpose on the 1st selection by the accepting universities. Universities may require the applicants to have good command of English skill [TOEFL score of 500 or higher] and numeracy skills. Please be well prepared for the exams.
Các ứng viên đủ điều kiện dự tuyển sẽ phải tham dự các kỳ thi Toán và Tiếng Anh [TOEFL ITP] do Văn phòng JDS tổ chức dự kiến vào giữa tháng 2/2022 tại Hà Nội, TP. Hồ Chí Minh và Đà Nẵng.
TOEFL ITP bao gồm 3 phần thi: Nghe hiểu [50 câu hỏi] trong khoảng 35 phút, Cấu trúc và ngữ pháp [40 câu hỏi] trong 25 phút và Đọc hiểu [50 câu hỏi] trong 55 phút.
