A revised fascia and mild exterior styling tweaks top the list of upgrades for 2023. Nissan

Nissan has released pricing for the 2023 Altima sedan. The base S trim starts at $26,385 [$25,290 plus a $1,095 destination fee], representing a $740 increase over the 2022 Nissan Altima S.

The 2023 Altima SV starts at $27,185 [up $540], the Altima SR at $28,585 [up $940] and the Altima SL at $33,085 [up $2,000]; adding all-wheel drive is $1,500. The Altima SR VC-Turbo starts at $36,085, a considerable $4,090 increase over the 2022 model. All prices include the $1,095 destination fee.

Updated for 2023, the Altima receives a revised fascia, a pair of new exterior colors, and four new alloy wheels designs. Gone for 2023 is the Platinum trim, leaving the S, SV, SR and SL trims; all-wheel drive remains available on all except the base S trim and the Altima SR VC-Turbo. In addition, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot warning is standard on all trims.

A new 12.3-inch infotainment screen is avaible on higher trims for 2023. Nissan

The S, SV, SR and SL trims continue to use a 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque mated to a CVT [Constantly Variable Transmission.] All-wheel drive versions get a slightly reduced output of 182 HP and 178 lb-ft.

The Altima SR VC-Turbo’s 2.-liter is rated at 248 horsepower and an impressive 273 lb-ft of torque funneled to the front wheels through a CVT.

The Altima, now in its fourth generation, competes with the Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5, Subaru Legacy and Toyota Camry.
